Africa ++

After a couple of false starts and clashes of dates I had the privilege of being able to attend the Africa ++ events held in London. The purpose of dialogue in this group is to share ideas, thoughts and action plans that positively affect Africa.

Africa ++ till now has been solely run from London but this week saw the launch of their second office in South Africa. Kudos to Femi and Leslie for the hard work they put into this group.

Blogwatch: AfroSpear

AfroSpear is a blog that I started subscribing to last May. The collection of writers have the task of putting across intellectual thoughts on issues around what it means to be of African descent.

Although the majority of content I read tends to focus more on African American than global African issues, I love the provocative yet well written nature of the posts. One that caught my eye recently was the one on Modern Day Slavery in Africa. This is definitely one my favourite blogs in the Afrosphere.
